Offered for sale is the 4-volume complete edition of Butler's Lives of the Saints by Herbert J. Thurston and Donald Attwater. It was published in 1981 by Christian Classics, Westminster, MD. This set is bound in burgundy cloth. Each book is about 9-1/4" long x 6-3/8" wide; thicknesses vary. Volume I - January-February-March - is 720 pages. Volume II - April-May-June - is 692 pages. Volume III - July-August-September - is 705 pages. Volume IV - October-November-December - is 707 pages. The books are in good condition. The pages are clean, unmarked and free of rips, tears, creases and dog ears. The covers are in very good condition with little wear.  The bindings are good to very good. This is a really neat Dorrane of California Rocking Horse Ceramic Cookie Jar.  There are no cracks or chips but there is some crazing.  One of the pictures shows tape holding the lid on so do not be confused!  This is in great shape and is made by a wonderful USA company.  This would be a great addition for a new family, a cookie jar collection or just that spot on your kitchen counter!
